It was a busy social weekend for us. We had dinner at Luke's boss's house on Friday and then went to Gina's 40th birthday. On Saturday, we went to Chapel Hill for lunch and then met Jessica and Zahir for Alex's first icy pole. At first Alex didn't want the icy pole and then he realized it was OK and couldn't have enough. On Sunday we had Katherine over for brunch. I made special fruit muffins and Alex loved them. Alex has been such a good eater recently. He loves fruit, veggies, noodles, bread and cheese. He'll eat food and say "yum, yum, yum".
Reni and Alex are getting along well during the week. Alex is a very good big brother. He likes to wake her up after nap time and gives her kisses. At the park, Alex was encouraging her to go through the tunnel (see pic). On Friday when Reni had to leave early, Alex tried to unbuckle her from her car seat because he didn't want her to go. He's so cute!
