Christmas

I was on call this Christmas weekend and Christi took some well-deserved time off. It was tough on Luke, but Alex loved spending more time with his daddy. We opened presents on Christmas morning before I went into the hospital and in the evening we had Christmas dinner at our house with the Andersons.

On Boxing day we went to the Ming's house for dumplings.

I'm busy with tidying things up for the year and writing a grant. I did finally get around to doing a video of Alex at 20 months and before. I lost count of how old he was and mislabeled the last video because I thought he turned 20 months in November. This new video is the real 20 months video. He impressed us tonight by counting from 1-10 in Cantonese all by himself. So smart!!

Getting ready for Christmas

What a busy December. Luke was on call for two weeks and then he left for a meeting. I was away for two meetings. This weekend was the first time we were all home together.

We finally got into Christmas spirit and bought a tree. It was not a plastic tree, but a REAL tree. Under the tree is a little baby Jesus sleeping in a manger. The tree also has a koala to remind us of Australia.
